Welcome to the Seattle section of "The Value of Architecture". As the local Seattle representatives for the site, many happy clients can attest to our ability to "get it" (to be in the group of those rare agents who have an eye for clean cool truly MODERN architecture, from mid-century to much newer, and an amazing knack for finding these houses, often before they are even on the market). We have weekly teleconferences with agents all over the country to keep up on the latest events. We will help you through the work of finding, negotiating, inspecting, repairing, remodeling, and "de-modeling", (removing the "re-muddling" of previous inappropriate updating), also historical researching, documenting, talking to the original architects, financing, etc.) We started this site because of a love of modern architecture and a desire to do something truly interesting to give meaning and purpose to "real estate", that is: love of great architecture and design, also preservation and conservation of the modern movement. There is a fragile but growing, we hope, awareness of saving, purchasing, promoting, and conserving works of modernist design. We are modern enthusiasts, students of the modernist movement, design and architecture.
